Starting your studies can be a daunting task. Where do you go and what do you need to do first? We've put together four simple steps to get you started on your ACCA journey in no time!

STEP 1 - Is ACCA Right For Me?

This is the first and most important step. Is this where you want to invest your time and money? ACCA’s professional qualification will help you in advancing your career and skillset, but you will have to be dedicated to working through the course while still working and maintaining other commitments. 

STEP 2 - Create a MyACCA account 

Once you have decided that ACCA is the right choice for you, you will need to register on their website and create an student profile. You can get started with your ACCA registration here.

STEP 3 - Do You Qualify For Exemptions?

There are various entry routes into the qualification depending on your past qualifications and work experience. These will allow you to enter at a higher level and skip any subjects/competencies you would have already covered previously. You can take an Exemption Estimate on the ACCA website to see where you will likely start from. You will be charged an Exemption Fee for each exemption that you accept. 

STEP 4 - Choose a Tuition Provider

Finally, all that is left is to partner with a tuition provider to walk alongside you on your journey to success. 

The ACCA recommends partnering with an Approved Learning Partner such as IBTC.
