Below, you’ll find a breakdown of the official 2026 CIMA registration, subscription and exam fees, so you can plan your studies and budget with confidence.

All prices are listed in British Pounds (GBP).


Registration and Annual Subscription Fees

 

Registration Fees

New candidates pay a one-time registration fee, which includes their first year’s subscription fee. The CIMA subscription year runs from 1 January to 31 December.

Registration (one-time payment) = GBP 99

Re-registration = GBP 99

 

Subscription Fees

Existing candidates must ensure that their subscription is paid by 31 March each year to prevent it from expiring.

New candidates (first year’s subscription) = Free

Candidates = GBP 150

Affiliates (candidates taking a short study break) = GBP 99

Candidates who have passed the Strategic Case Study Exam = GBP 335

Practical Experience Requirements (PER) application fee = GBP 199

 

Exemption Fees

CIMA does not charge exemption fees. This means that if you qualify for exemptions based on prior study or experience, there is no additional cost to apply.

 

Exam Fees

CIMA’s CGMA exam fees are structured according to a tiered pricing system, designed to improve access to the qualification globally. Fees vary depending on your country of residence.

 

Objective Tests

Certificate Level Objective Test (per exam) = GBP 89

Operational Level Objective Test (per exam) = GBP 104

Management Level Objective Test (per exam) = GBP 130

Strategic Level Objective Test (per exam) = GBP 178

 

Case Study Exams

Operational Level Case Study = GBP 192

Management Level Case Study = GBP 200

Strategic Level Case Study = GBP 303
