Foundational Level Entry (3yr)

The FLP portal contains all content for the foundational level and your E, P and F subjects and case study exams. Study online and complete all the activities to gain access to the case study exam. Your subscription allows you access to the platform and to the exams. The programme is entirely self-directed, so you can complete as many or as few assessments as you can manage during your subscription period. 

The new introductory level to the Finance Leadership Programme (FLP) is the foundational level, designed to deliver a foundational understanding of business, finance, and accounting for CGMA candidates who enter the programme with plans to pursue the Professional levels of FLP.

Each level of the CIMA FLP programme contains a Case Study Examination, which integrates the knowledge, skills and techniques from across the three pillars into one synoptic capstone examination.

On the FLP programme, you are required to complete all the learning, foundational level task questions , the competencies, and complete all the continuous assessment activities to gain access to the Case Study exam. 

Each case study exam is a three hour long computer based exam. There are four windows a year when you can sit your case study exams (February, May, August and November). Within each window, exams will be available for three days from Wednesday to Friday. Exams can be sat at a Pearson Vue exam centre or at home. Information about a fictitious company is released 6 weeks prior to the exam, which forms the basis of your Case Study exam and is called the 'pre-seen material'. 

CIMA's FLP programme is a 3rd party programme delivered by CIMA, not IBTC. As such, the FLP programme does not fall under the IBTC Pass Assured Promise. 

However, if you have purchased FLP Premium, then the Revision and/or Virtual Classes you have purchased as part of your FLP package do fall under our Pass Assured Promise Policy.
