Entry requirements
The ACCA Applied Knowledge is the first level of the ACCA Professional Qualification. To gain entry to this course you must have either a Senior Certificate with passes in English and Maths, a National Senior Certificate with 40% or higher, a Damelin Diploma or a Matriculation to University.

Content
Here we look at the tax system as it applies to individuals, single companies, and groups of companies, with reference to UK taxation.
Exams and sittings
Each session-based exam is a 3 hour long exam, which can be taken as a session CBE in specific regions or as a session paper exam. There are 4 exam sittings - March, June, September and December. As ACCA is phasing out paper-based exams, please be sure to check the ACCA website for the available papers in your region for your specific sitting.
Session-based exams are human-marked. You will receive your results from ACCA 5-6 weeks after the exam sitting.
